Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Salahiya, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Salahiya for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. The service

Salahiya helps UAE businesses monitor employee document expiries (Passport, Emirates ID, Visa, Labour and Health cards) with alerts, OCR, reports, and storage.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for your credentials and all activity in your account.
  • Admins may create staff accounts with temporary passwords; staff must change passwords on first sign-in.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Plans, billing and refunds

  • Free trial: 2 days, limited to 2 employees.
  • Starter: AED 150/month + 4% processing fee. Up to 10 employees.
  • Pro: AED 350/month + 4% processing fee. Up to 50 employees.
  • All prices are in AED and exclusive of any applicable VAT.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
  • No refunds. Upgrades are prorated by Stripe; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Unpaid invoices may result in suspension or downgrade.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload data you do not have the right to process.
  • Attempt to breach security, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harm others.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of employee and company data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party services

The service uses third parties such as Stripe (billing), Supabase (database/auth), and email providers. Their terms apply to their parts of the service.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure may affect availability.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Salahiya is a monitoring tool; you remain responsible for compliance with UAE regulations and timely renewals.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including fines or losses arising from missed renewals.

11. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, access ends and data may be deleted after a reasonable period.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai, UAE.
